Kane’s Furniture Reviews
While we used to just look at customer feedback when evaluating furniture stores, we’ve decided to take the process a little further now and include BBB ratings after Bel Furniture’s harsh rating. With this new system, we thought we’d take a look at Kane’s Furniture. Based out of Florida, this company exudes the spirit of the area with rich colors decorating their stores. Starting with Kane’s Furniture’s Better Business Bureau (BBB) rating, they come out of the gates strong with an A+ rating. The company has received a fair amount of complaints through the BBB over the years with 180 complaints filed in three years, 93 of which were in the last twelve months, but they handle them well. Every complaint leveled against Kane’s sees prompt resolution and the company seems to be very open about working with their customers. To give a general overview, 100 of these complaints were about the products people received, 50 were about warranties, and 13 were about delivery and advertising separately.
Reading the reviews online, you definitely see two different sides to the company. Some people posted fiercely critical reviews of the company. On Yelp, the store in Melbourne, Florida on New Haven Ave has 1 star. One customer ordered a number of products in one order, and one of the lamps was delivered in the wrong color with a crack in it. However, the store required the customer drive in and return the lamp on their own. Another customer found their leather sofa started peeling just a year after their purchase.
However, one thing that really makes Kane’s Furniture stand out from the competition is how they responded to these issues. Where many companies just have these issues floating out there, Kane’s actually responded to every negative review on Yelp and contacted the customers to amend the situation. This ties in to their A+ rating on BBB. No matter where you shop, there is a chance you might have a bad experience. But at least with this company, you know they’ll make it right.
On the upside, another store saw a lot of praise as the store on Colonial Drive in Orlando, Florida had 3.5 stars out of 5. While that doesn’t sound like much, it’s huge for a furniture store. People at the store were really pleased with how they were treated, as the sales staff wasn’t pushy and didn’t stalk you like prey like they do at many retailers. One woman spoke highly of the pieces she bought, and everyone complimented the store’s financing. The company works closely with customers to make sure you’re able to get a deal, as they ultimately want everyone happy.
Overall, Kane’s Furniture had reviews that dotted the entire spectrum. What made them truly unique though was their policy to respond to criticism and to make things right with their customers. These policies help make this furniture store a great choice if you’re in the Florida area.
